This documentary is a chronology of transition of the social context of women since the Second World War, to today's social, economic, and family framework. We explore the Rosies of WWII and their experiences taking on traditional men's roles in the workforce. Through their compelling stories we examine how their service aided the war effort, which in turn, opened up opportunities for women that were never before had, we explore the tremendous spirit and tireless efforts of these "Rosie's" and examine how the "Greatest Generation" rose to the occasion and how their lives were transformed and how their patriotism and volunteerism has continued into the present.
