Adolf Hitler's Nazi regime implemented some of the most ludicrous eugenics practises in history.
At least 70 medical research programmes that involved inhumane and frequently fatal experiments on human victims were carried out behind the walls of Nazi concentration camps between 1939 and 1945.

These purported research projects, which were conducted by reputable organisations within the Third Reich, were divided into three primary categories: testing pharmaceuticals and medical procedures, confirming Nazi racial ideology, and improving German troop survival and rescue.
Although the actual number of victims of these medical studies is still unknown, over 7,000 cases have been reported. The Nazis used the victims' status as ""undesirables,"" or persons who they believed to be a burden on the country's resources, to justify their murders.
In order to shield collaborating physicians, medical staff, and administrators from punishment, Adolf Hitler signed a covert authorization.
