Henry VIII was born and raised as an incredibly devout Roman Catholic man. But upon the death of his brother, the 11 year old Henry’s life is turned upside down. From this point onwards, the heavy burden of the succession would become his to bear. Despite being granted ‘Defender of the Faith’, Henry would soon turn the country upside down and change history forever on his personal quest to fufil his desire to father a legitimate male heir. This path of Love and death would quickly lead to several failed marriages.
