The beautiful interior and acoustics of St. George's Anglican Church in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada set the stage for this 1-hour Christmas special. The musical premise is one of simplicity and elegance: featured are four pure female voices, each unique, each from a different musical tradition, supported only by the acoustic sound of Blue Engine String Quartet. The featured guest artists are jazz/classical artist Jeri Brown, country/jazz artist Cindy Church, Acadian pop artist Lina Boudreau (singing in French) and Celtic artist Mary Jane Lamond (singing in Gaelic).
