Alas, the timing was not right since they were both in relationships with other people. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw met at a Nashville Country Radio Seminar for new talent in 1994 but officially connected during his Spontaneous Music Combustion tour two years later. He proposed in a backstage trailer house dressing room. She responded with lipstick kisses all over the mirror.

26 years later Hill and McGraw are still a team both on and off stage. On the home front they’re now emptynesters with three grown daughters. Faith was Tim’s cheerleader during his 2008 fight for sobriety. Their Soul 2 Soul tour has already been revived three times, a reference no doubt, to both music and marriage.
